ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT:
The Execution Support will provide hands-on assistance, ensuring the smooth execution of maintenance activities, scheduled work and addressing any issues that arise through the effective use of the Hexagon EAM system. This position plays a key role in coordinating work orders, scheduling tasks, maintaining accurate data, and supporting front-line teams to keep operations running efficiently.

The Execution Support will provide hands-on assistance, ensuring the smooth execution of maintenance activities, scheduled work and addressing any issues that arise through the effective use of the Hexagon EAM system. This position plays a key role in coordinating work orders, scheduling tasks, maintaining accurate data, and supporting front-line teams to keep operations running efficiently.
MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and update work orders that are scheduled and assigned during the current work week and provide timely progress updates.
- Facilitate daily team meetings to align priorities, discuss progress, and address challenges.
- Support the Supervisor in resolving issues that arise during execution, enabling timely and effective solutions to keep work on schedule.
- Coordinate and assign daily work activities based on the Supervisor’s prioritization of work orders and available resources.
- Assist in scheduling and allocating technicians or contractors, ensuring tasks are properly executed and reassigned when required.
- Maintain adherence to work execution management principles and established procedures.
- Collaborate with operators and managers to identify equipment needs and maintenance priorities.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to unionized staff on work execution processes and EAM system usage.
- Assist Supervisor in maintaining work history, technical and vendor files.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any deviation from the original plan, and ensure that all documentation is complete and up to date
- Effectively & efficiently use the EAM system to track all assets and maintenance activities
- Assist in scheduling and allocating the appropriate personnel, tools, and equipment required for each job, ensuring optimal use of resources during the current work week
- Reschedule/reprioritize work based on emergent needs
- Resolve day-to-day execution issues such as resource conflicts, incomplete work orders, or material shortages
- Collaborate with employees to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to streamline work execution
- Communicate effectively with end users to ensure alignment on priorities and status updates
- Monitor and recommend changes to inventory levels of spare parts and materials, liaising with the supply chain to ensure availability and timely delivery of required items
- Responsible for material handling to ensure parts are available and delivered to the end users.
- Assist in identification and requisitions of non-inventory parts
- Ensure parts are accurately reflected on work orders
- College Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field
- Certificate of Qualification in a relevant trade (e.g. Machinist, Mechanic, Electrician, Pipefitter, Painter or Metal Fabricator) is preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in asset management maintenance including monitoring and assessing asset related performance and presenting corrective remedies and plans
- Experience with asset management software or work order management system like SAP PM, IBM Maximo, AS400 INFOR or HxGN EAM preferred.
- Strong understanding of asset management principles and maintenance operations.
- Experience in work order scheduling and resource allocation is preferred.
- Awareness of regulatory requirements and safety protocols in maintenance operations
- Ability to analyze maintenance data and prepare reports that support operational efficiency.
- Experience with predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365
- Valid G driver’s license with ability to travel up to 25%.
- Excellent coordination & planning skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
