POSITION:            Summer Student – Stores Person    
REPORTS TO:       Supervisor – Stores

RATE OF PAY:        $18.10 per hour

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Move, ship, and store materials in an appropriate location on shelves/racks.
  • Update locations and labelling system for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
  • Take and upload photos/images into database 
  • Load and unload materials to/from railcars, trailers, and trucks 
  • Issue materials according to requisitions 
  • Conduct inventory counts 
  • Operate forklift or other material handling equipment and perform daily inspection of vehicles and equipment 
  • Janitorial duties 
  • Required to work outdoors in all weather 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be at least 15 years old prior to starting date and enrolled in full-time school
  • Preference given to students enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program, entering or finishing full-time post-secondary studies in 2026
  • Must be able to work full-time hours (40 hours per week)
  • Good work ethic, energetic and enthusiastic
  • Able to lift up to 75lbs
  • Experience with inventory, point of sale or similar computer programs
  • Must be committed to Health and Safety
