ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT:
The Contract Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting the Senior Project Manager by ensuring all RM and RRC projects are executed in full compliance with contractual requirements. This includes supporting project planning, monitoring, and reporting activities, as well as communicating project status to external customers. The role is accountable for ensuring third‑party work is accurately captured and invoiced, and for monitoring the impact of warranty claims on overall project status and performance.

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the Senior Project Manager in the initiation, planning, execution, and monitoring of refurbishment projects across RRC and RM.
  • Ensure contract compliance through ongoing scope, cost, and schedule monitoring.
  • Communicate effectively with project team members, including supervisors and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, including risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Oversee and coordinate external customer warranty claims for all RRC and RM projects.
  • Work collaboratively with customers, contractors, and internal teams to reduce the frequency and financial impact of warranty work.
  • Partner with Supervisors and Continuous Improvement Specialists to support process improvements and operational effectiveness.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on project performance metrics and milestones.
  • Contribute to the achievement of departmental KPIs related to cost, quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • University degree in Business Administration or Project Management, or a related field. 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of related project management experience, including but not limited to:
    • Managing projects in a production or manufacturing environment
    • Dealing with customers and key stakeholders
    • Continuous improvement initiatives
    • Change management
    • Risk management
  • Experience in a leadership role, including the ability to influence, guide teams, and support change initiatives.
  • Previous experience managing projects in a production environment is preferred. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project. 
  • Experience using Visio for process mapping, workflows, and project documentation.
  • Experience with SharePoint and ERP systems. 
  • Knowledge of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and formal change management methodologies. 
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and decision making skills. 
  • Effective communication, training, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. 
  • Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating collaboration, customer service focus, and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Commitment to health and safety.
